While learning about the usage of AI in my digital marketing class, I was able to create a customer persona, keyword searches for Apple, and allow AI to create a blog post for this company. The use of AI was able to create a customer persona of Alex Morgan, a 19 year old tech savvy person from Chicago, IL. I guided AI to answer specific questions needed for each component.
Information Needed:
To build this persona, I asked ChatGPT to help structure and refine demographic, psychographic, and behavioral traits into a realistic persona.
The prompt used to gather this information is as follows:
“Create a customer persona using the following demographic, psychographic, behavioral data, etc.”
ChatGPT created the customer persona of Alex Morgan, and provided extensive information based on these traits:
- Demographic information
- Psychographic information
- Behavioral information
- Goals & motivations
- Pain points
- Objections & concerns
- Media habits
- Representative quotes
Non-providable Information:
Some details were unavailable including exact income, family background, career specifics, etc. I asked ChatGPT to make educated assumptions based off of common patterns in order to get the unknown information.
The prompted used was as follows:
“Based on general knowledge of prospective Apple users, guess likely interests, behaviors, and characteristics using common user patterns.”
ChatGPT then generated assumptions such as social media preferences, financial concerns, lifestyle traits, and career aspirations.
Generating Customer Persona:
After ChatGPT gathered all the information needed for a customer persona, I directed it to create a complete customer persona.

“Using all previous information, create a complete customer persona.”
ChatGPT created the customer persona of Alex Morgan, a 19 year old from Chicago, IL who is a tech savvy, college student, with a medium to upper income level, and provided more information based off of common Apple user patterns.

In order to find popular keyword searches for Apple, I asked ChatGPT for common google searches related to Apple.

Image Creation:
After AI created the blog post and caption, I had it create a prompt to used for an AI image generator. ChatGPT created a prompted that I then used on Leonardo.AI to generate an image.

Last Remarks:
Learning about this type of usage of AI was very interesting. My generation tends to use AI a lot to help with school work such as creating a study guide or simplifying a difficult text. It was fascinating to see how AI was able to create all this information based off of its own algorithms. I think that in the future, when I have a secured career, AI will be able to make researching easier, and provide the technology I would need in the business marketing world.
